Quanta Services delivered a record third quarter and raised its 2026 outlook across revenue, earnings and cash flow, as demand broadened across electric infrastructure, power generation, industrial and technology customers.

Revenue rose from $7.63 billion in the third quarter of 2025, while GAAP diluted EPS increased to $4.55 from $2.24 and adjusted diluted EPS to $6.06 from $3.33. The reported adjusted EPS was about 20.5% above the roughly $5.02–$5.03 consensus cited by MarketBeat and Zacks; revenue exceeded the approximately $11.03 billion consensus by about $981 million.

## Backlog and demand expanded

Total backlog reached $63.7 billion, including $38.4 billion expected to be executed within 12 months, while remaining performance obligations were $41.8 billion. Quanta said demand was broadening across utility, power generation, industrial and technology customers; about $1.3 billion of backlog added in the quarter came from acquisitions.

Operating cash flow was $1.45 billion and free cash flow $1.20 billion in the quarter. For the first nine months, operating cash flow reached $2.94 billion and free cash flow $2.27 billion. The company also issued $2.0 billion of senior notes in August, prepaid a $618.8 million term loan in September and increased revolving commitments to $2.98 billion, strengthening liquidity while it funded expansion.

**Raised 2026 outlook** Quanta now expects $41.3–$41.6 billion of revenue, $17.90–$18.30 of adjusted EPS, $3.45–$4.00 billion of operating cash flow and $2.50–$3.00 billion of free cash flow. These are management projections, not guarantees.

Quanta completed two acquisitions in September and October for aggregate consideration of about $245 million, but said they would not materially affect full-year 2026 results. The combination of record backlog, strong cash conversion and higher expectations makes execution, permitting, weather, labor and project timing the key variables for the remainder of the year.

- Q3 revenue: $12.01B +57.3% year over year
- Adjusted EPS: $6.06 +82.0% year over year
- Q3 free cash flow: $1.20B record quarter
- Total backlog: $63.7B record
