DXC Β· IT Consulting & Other Services

From its latest annual report

DXC Technology is an IT services company. Large businesses and public sector organizations pay it to run and update their computer systems, to build and modernize software, and to run insurance software. It has about 115,000 employees in 60 countries, and its customers include many very large companies. It sells through its own direct sales force. It was formed in 2017 by the merger of CSC and HP Enterprise Services.

It has three segments. Consulting & Engineering Services does software engineering, consulting and custom applications. Global Infrastructure Services designs, moves and runs data center, mainframe, cloud and network systems, and also handles workplace support and business process work such as finance and HR tasks. Insurance Software & Services sells software and related services to life, property and casualty, and reinsurance companies. DXC says it is adding AI and automation to all three.

No single customer made up even a tenth of its revenue in fiscal 2026. DXC competes with large multinational IT firms, smaller specialist firms, offshore providers in lower-cost places such as India, and the in-house technology teams of its customers. It plans to exit most of its own data centers and move to outside providers.
