Strategy activates daily STRC dividends without changing the stated rate
Strategy’s amended STRC designation took effect November 1, enabling daily record dates and next-business-day payments without changing the stated rate or total regular-dividend obligation.
Strategy Inc. activated a daily-dividend framework for STRC at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on November 1 after shareholder approval and filing of the amended certificate.
What changed for STRC holders
The certificate permits STRC regular dividends to have a record date on each calendar day and be payable, if declared, on the following business day. Strategy said the change does not alter the stated rate, total regular dividends payable or overall obligations.
The 8-K confirmed that the approval and effectiveness conditions were met. The previously declared November 15 semi-monthly dividend will not be payable once the transition condition is satisfied.
Why the filing matters
The change alters distribution timing and operational cadence, not the stated payout. It may make holders’ cash-flow schedule more granular, while adding requirements for Nasdaq, DTC, brokers and clearing systems.
